Long time since my last post, it’s too damn hot here to do much, but I’m working on a new video which I should have wrapped up soon. But shit, this heat zaps your energy. I’m finishing off some other tracks which will be available as a download soon…

In the meantime, I got sent a few demos from a group hailing from Blackpool in the UK, and I’ve been totally blown away by them.

A fresh indie-rock sound, some beautifully crafted songs and great musicianship make these guys one to watch for the future. Check out their songs on their MySpace page: The Locals on the MySpaces

Here’s a really interesting little video from The Guardian featuring the legendary Cory Doctorow giving the current copyright laws a thorough run-down and making some really interesting points about online culture and the threats it faces.

Well it’s been nearly 24 hours since the rapture was supposed to begin. It’s a quiet Sunday afternoon here, and everyone, believers and non-believers alike are enjoying the sunshine and relaxing before another week at work. Maybe God’s taking his time over this one?

So whilst we’re all waiting to meet our seemingly lazy maker, have a watch of these guys videos on the history of God, it’s really quite fascinating. A former Christian, he began to question his faith, and took it upon himself to research God’s history… and what he found is something quite different from what modern-day Christianity teaches:

Yeah I had some issues with the site but it seems to be working ok now… if anyone encounters an issue using this site then please let me know – however I will not fix any problems relating to Microsoft’s Internet Explorer because a) it’s a rubbish browser, b) IE has been the bane of web designers lives for years and has cost me time and money more times than I care to remember and c) it’s Microsoft.

In other news, another gig is happening tonight at Antonio’s, some flamenco guy who was there at my gig last week so I’m going to go check him out… should be a good one :)

Finally got around to finishing and uploading this new site… it’s been something of a labour of love over the past 4 months, going through several different working versions to reach this one… I wanted to make it dark to really highlight the content on the videos, and also spent a lot of time adding some rich user interface features.

Still yet to test it in Internet Explorer… I fear the worst to be honest… and Firefox…
